Analyst Overview

Applied Value offers Analysts the opportunity to work directly with managers and partners and contribute to all aspects of case analysis, strategy development, presentation, and implementation. Analysts are key members of the project team and play a vital role in interacting with and delivering results to the client.

Applied Value offers a career path where you are expected to take a large responsibility from day one, owning and independently executing project tasks. You are also expected to be a part of the sales process at an early career stage, which includes identifying potential clients and projects, producing sales materials, and participating in sales meetings.

What will you do?

With a typical case team consisting of 2-5 consultants, Analysts are key players in project execution including collecting and analyzing industry and client data, conducting SME/stakeholder interviews, presentation creation and delivery, and research. Analysts are actively involved in the overall quality and success of the project from initial data collection to the final presentation. Analysts, guided by their project managers, are responsible for gathering and analyzing client and industry data, conducting interviews, drawing conclusions, and developing recommendations.

Analysts play pivotal roles within project teams, typically comprised of 2-5 consultants. From the onset of data collection to the culmination of the final presentation, Analysts are deeply involved in ensuring the project's quality and success. Guided by their project manager, project execution responsibilities include:

Collecting, researching and analyzing industry and client data
Conducting interviews with subject matter expert (SME) and client stakeholders
Formulating conclusions and recommendations
Crafting and delivering presentations

Academic and Professional Experience:

0-1.5 years of relevant work experience within management consulting
Stellar academic performance with anticipated graduation in Spring of 2024
Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or Quantitative majors preferred, but not required
Previous business-focused internship required
English fluency at native or bilingual proficiency
