A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement practice (PEPI)focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. Our area of expertise is supporting private equity owned portfolio companies to deliver a growth strategy as well as supporting under-performing with a need to reorganize or take costs out. Working directly with company management, A&M helps stabilize financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profitability and working capital improvement measures.
As an Intern (m/f/d)you will be part of the PEPI team for 3-6 months. As part of the internship program, you may have exposure to:
Working on client engagements (either in the office or on client site)
Developing company and industrial analyses
Supporting research initiatives and new business development
At best you already have some relevant consulting experience and the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a Master’s/MBA programme
Strong analytical skills combined with well-developed financial modelling capabilities
Relevant practical experience within a Big 4, leading strategy consultancy or investment bank
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluency in German and English
